Children - Palm Sunday Parade with Children

We are organizing Palm Sunday Parades for each worship service for Sunday April 1st, 2012. 

 

Children should meet Kate Meacham just outside the worship space before the service begins.  Kate will arm each child with palm branches and give instructions.  We will parade in with palms during the processional hymn/opening worship song to help illustrate the day's scripture lesson.

 

In Traditional worship - children will return to the Narthex and give Kate their palms.  In Contemporary worship children are encouraged to keep their palms and will sit with their families following the opening worship song.
