 The First Steps Child Development Center is committed to supporting children every step of the way, in spirit, mind and body.
We foster a safe environment with caring teachers and high-quality, fun learning experiences.
The preschool is licensed by the state of Tennessee and maintains a 3-star quality rating, the highest level of achievement possible. See the state's Childcare Report Card Program.
We have two sessions available each year, a September to May program, and a summer program for 3 weeks in July.
We accept children who are six weeks through 5 years old.
H ours:
- Monday—Friday from 8:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., with 2, 3 and 5 day options available.
- Early drop off at 7:55 available.
- Extended hours until 2:55 p.m. are available M, Tu., Th., Fri.
- We follow the Oak Ridge Schools schedule for holidays.
