TORCH Bearer Event 2021: A high school student’s personal experience with homelessness and what TORCH can do to help.
About this event:
Please join us to hear 16-year-old student, Melody Dalili, describe life in high school when homeless. Please come to First United Methodist Church, Oak Ridge, on November 16th at 11:30 (masked) for a 30-minute presentation including a question and answer period over your lunch break. As you leave, you will be given a box lunch to take with you.
We had hoped for better but, due to the Delta Variant of COVID-19 and the need for an abundance of caution, TORCH has chosen not to bring a large group of people to have lunch together. In 2021 the TORCH Bearer luncheon will be a hybrid event. You can attend via live stream if you are unable to attend in person.
