For more than 15 years, our church has supported Oak Ridge Schools with the Food for Kids ministry. Food for Kids is a monthly program where at-risk children in Oak Ridge public schools are given a bag filled with healthy food items once a week. Volunteers from our church, along with those from other congregations and community volunteers, pack the delivered food from Second Harvest Food Bank. The containers of food are delivered to the schools monthly during the school year.
