CHILDREN'S
Welcome to Children’s and Family Ministries! We strive to create a loving environment for every family that walks through our church doors. Your child will be welcomed into a space where they will learn about God’s love through age-appropriate storytelling and scripture reading, worship, crafts, and more!
We not only want to create a fun and loving environment for kids, but for their families as well. We plan many events throughout the year for our families to come together and fellowship with one another. We want to provide a community for families so that they know they are loved and have people that will support them as they are raising the next generation.

Worship at First Church is based in the ancient traditions of the Church. We pray, praise and learn through music, reading of Scripture, sermons, and the celebration of Holy Communion.
Contemporary
Our Contemporary Service, held in the Multipurpose Room, is a nontraditional worship experience incorporating modern worship music led by a live band of guitars, drums, keyboard, and vocals as well as preaching that digs deep into Scripture and its relevance for our daily lives. The atmosphere is casual and inviting—with adults dressed in a little bit of everything, kids dancing in the aisles, videos on the screens, and cups of coffee in hands throughout the room! This reflects God's love for all of us as our most authentic selves.
Traditional
Traditional worship, held at 8:45 and 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary, incorporates organ music and traditional hymns, several Scripture readings, prayers, and liturgy to enhance the proclamation of the Word. The pastors and choir wear robes to show reverence to God and reflect the sacredness of the service.

Church should be a place where we can be authentic to who we are, with God and one another, and this is no exception when it comes to what we wear! We encourage you to wear what makes you feel comfortable and truly yourself. In each of our services, you will see people dressed in a bit of everything from very casual to more formal, so no matter what, you will fit right in!
We would love to greet you, know who you are and what brought you to church that day – but we will not ask you to stand up and be recognized as a visitor in worship. Please let us know you were here by filling out the attendance pads in the pews. We won’t bombard you with stuff – we just want to let you know we were glad to have you with us! Come by the “Donut Hole” in the Vienna Road Welcome Center for some coffee, a donut, and you can find what Sunday School class would be best for you!
We believe that Christ invites all people to dine at His table, anyone who is seeking to respond to God’s gracious offer of love. Therefore, you do not need to be a member of this church or any church to participate in this meal; all are invited! When you come forward, a piece of bread will be placed in your cupped hands, you will dip the bread in the cup and consume the bread and juice together. A gluten-free option is available. The baskets located beside the Communion stations are for donations to our Community Assistance Fund, which allows us to responsibly assist our neighbors in their time of need.
