About Helen:
Helen (she/her/hers or they/them/theirs) serves as Reconciling Ministries Network’s full-time Southeastern Regional Organizer, working to engage United Methodist churches and small groups in creating LGBTQIA+ inclusive faith communities. Helen grew up in England and moved to the States in 1998. She is a recovering ex-gay pro-conversion therapy, charismatic evangelical, a member of the Order of Deaconess and Home Missioner in The United Methodist Church and lives with her wife Kate just north of Asheville, NC.
